Australian High Commission Economics Counsellor Nic Jonsson stated this coaching initiative is a concrete step underneath the PNG-Australia Partnership to enhance livelihoods in PNG’s agricultural sector. “Once this training is full, PNG farmers will have on-the-ground entry to internationally qualified organic food inspectors. This means it’s going to make it easier for PNG produce to compete in valuable overseas natural markets like Australia,” Mr. Jonsson stated.
